What is LCOS?
LCOS (Liquid Crystal on Silicon) is a reflective liquid crystal device that combines glass and silicon.
What is FLC?
FLC (Ferroelectric Liquid Crystal) is a type of liquid crystal with a response speed approximately 100 to 1,000 times faster than conventional Nematic liquid crystals. Please refer to the ”Features" tab for more details.
What wafer sizes are supported in the Foundry service?
We support wafer sizes of Φ 6, 8, and 12 inches. For square wafers, please contact us.
What types of liquid crystals can be produced in the Foundry service?
For Glass-Si cells, we support Nematic liquid crystals such as TN, VA, and ECB.
For Glass-Glass cells, we support FLC and Nematic liquid crystals (TN, VA, and ECB).
What services does CFD's Foundry service offer?
We handle everything from panel fabrication to module assembly. Please check the "Products and application examples" tabs for more details.
What is the MOQ for the Foundry service?
Since we support from a single wafer, please feel free to contact us for inquiries.
What is the MOQ for Optical element products?
We support small-lot production from prototypes to mass production. If you have a desired quantity, please contact us.
What wavelengths are supported for Optical element products?

Is it possible to sell empty cells?
We are sorry. We do not sell empty cells.
Is it possible to sell only FLC?

Can you deliver directly overseas?
We support deliveries from our Kitamimaki plant or overseas factories directly to international locations.
